General & Pricing

Yes! You can create unlimited cards with unlimited contributors completely free. Every card you send is free. If you want the premium experience, including a downloadable PDF copy, no ads on the card page, and the card never being archived, you can upgrade a card by purchasing credits. We don't believe in charging a monthly subscription just to say "Happy Birthday."

A Premium card is a card that has been upgraded. Premium cards come with several benefits: the card will never be archived so it stays online forever, ads are removed from the card page for everyone who views it, a high-quality PDF of the full card is automatically generated for download, and you get access to premium features like background music, confetti animations, and voice notes. You can upgrade any card from your Dashboard or directly from the card page.

One credit upgrades one card. You can purchase a single credit for $1.99 or a pack of six credits for $9.99. All purchases are one-time payments, not subscriptions. Credits never expire, so you can use them whenever you are ready.

No. This is one of our most important features. When you share the card link, your colleagues can sign, add GIFs, upload photos and videos, and even leave voice notes immediately without creating an account or logging in. Only the Organizer (the person creating the card) needs an account to manage it.

Features & Customization

Greetopia has a built-in bulk invite tool. You can copy-paste a list of emails directly from Outlook, Gmail, or a spreadsheet, and we automatically detect and parse them for you. You can find this in two places: first, right after you create and schedule a card, the success screen includes an "Invite Others to Contribute" section where you can paste emails. Second, from your Dashboard under My Greetings, click the Share button on any active card to open the "Invite More People" dialog, which has the same paste-and-send flow.

Absolutely. While we have a library of professionally designed templates, you can also upload your own image or video to serve as the card cover. Supported formats include JPG, PNG, GIF, WEBP, and MP4 (up to 5 MB). During card creation, simply choose the custom upload option and upload your file. This is great for designers who want to create a custom look in Canva, Figma, or Photoshop first.

Yes. When you create a card, you set the delivery date and time during the setup step. We handle the time-zone math for you. Just select the recipient's time zone (e.g. EST, GMT, IST) and we make sure the card lands in their inbox at the perfect moment. If you need to change the delivery date later, you can edit it from the card page or from My Greetings in your Dashboard.

Yes. Head to the Address Book section in your Dashboard. There you can add contacts with their name and email, and then add recurring events for each contact, such as birthdays, work anniversaries, or any custom date. Greetopia will send you a reminder email before each event so you have plenty of time to create a card and gather signatures. If you have contacts saved, they will also appear as suggestions when you are choosing a recipient during card creation.

Very! Contributors are not limited to plain text. Here is what everyone can add: • Rich Text: Choose from a variety of font styles, adjust font weights, and pick custom colors to match the vibe. • Photos and GIFs: Upload your own images or search for the perfect reaction using the built-in Giphy integration. • Videos: Embed YouTube videos directly into a message for a personal touch. • Voice Notes: Record a short audio message right from the card (available on Premium cards). On top of that, the card Organizer can configure these delivery extras from the Delivery Settings panel on the card page: • Background Music: Pick a track that plays automatically when the recipient opens the card (Premium). • Confetti: Enable a confetti animation with customizable colors for an extra celebration (Premium).

If a contributor has writer's block, they can use the AI Writing Assistant. On desktop, it appears as a panel on the right side of the card page when you are in edit mode. On mobile, tap the "Help Me Write" button at the bottom of the screen. The AI generates a thoughtful message based on the occasion (Birthday, Farewell, Congratulations, etc.), which you can then edit, personalize, or use as-is. Each card has a limited number of AI suggestions to keep things fair.

Cards & Downloads

Yes. When you upgrade a card to Premium, a beautiful PDF is automatically generated. It includes every message, photo, GIF, and QR codes that link to any video or voice note. You can download the PDF from the card page or from My Greetings in your Dashboard. It is great for printing, framing, or including with a physical gift. As the card organizer, you can also control who can download the PDF from the Delivery Settings panel.

Free cards are archived 90 days after delivery. Before archiving, both the organizer and recipient receive email reminders so they have time to upgrade the card to Premium if they would like to keep it. Archived cards are no longer viewable online, but the organizer can still upgrade them later to restore access.

No. Once a card is upgraded to Premium, it stays online permanently. It will never be archived, and the PDF download remains available indefinitely.

Your card is protected by a unique, private link. It is not searchable on Google or listed publicly on our site. Only the people you share the link with can access it.

Privacy & Account

Your personal Dashboard is your home base. Once you log in, go to My Greetings to see every card you have created (Sent) and every card sent to you (Received). Cards are organized with filters for active, delivered, and archived so you can find what you need quickly.

Yes. We respect your privacy. You have full control to delete individual cards or your entire account at any time. When you request a data deletion, we permanently remove your personal information and card history from our servers.

Never. We do not sell, share, or trade your personal data with any third party. Your information is used solely to provide and improve the Greetopia service. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Unused credits are forfeited when you delete your account. Cards you have already upgraded to Premium remain accessible to their recipients via the shared link, but you will lose organizer access. We recommend using any remaining credits before deleting your account.
