Hi, I'm the solo developer behind Greetopia.
I built this platform entirely as a side project outside of my day job because I was frustrated by the state of office celebrations. In a modern, remote workplace, organizing a simple group card had become ridiculously complicated and unnecessarily expensive.
When I looked at the digital alternatives, I realized that even their cheapest tiers were charging massive premiums for basic features, or forcing users into monthly subscriptions just to say "Happy Birthday."
The reality of digital software is that the costs are front-loaded. Once the code is written and the database is running, it costs a company practically nothing to host a digital card. So why are they charging so much?
I didn't want to build another corporate SaaS tool designed to extract maximum profit. I wanted to build a utility.
My philosophy for Greetopia is simple: it should be free to start, effortless to scale, and you should only pay when you actually want to. I set the Premium upgrade price at $1.99 because it is cheap enough to expense without a second thought in the Western world, and genuinely affordable for the vast majority of the global workforce.
More importantly, $1.99 is the exact baseline needed to keep this platform sustainable. It is just enough to pay professional artists for beautiful card designs, keep our secure cloud database running fast, and cover the transaction fees for the payment partners that keep your checkout safe.
No hidden fees, no required sign-ups for contributors, and absolutely no monthly subscriptions. Just a clean, reliable tool that helps teams celebrate the moments that matter.
Thank you for trusting Greetopia with your office memories.
